🤳 Selfie Emoji

The image of a disembodied hand holding a smartphone and snapping a photo is the emoji that symbolises the act of taking a selfie of oneself. It typically represents a request for someone to take a selfie, but it can also refer to the intention of doing so. Selfie Emoji can mean “Let me take a selfie!”.

Selfie Emoji is a special symbol that looks like a picture 🤳 (you may see empty box or "X" if unsupported), but really it's a text, so you can simply copy and paste this emoji as a regular letter, symbol or text. This trick works for Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, Snapchat, SMS and any other website, messenger or application. The only nuance is that supported emoji set is the same for all recent versions of platforms and applications, but appearance (pictures themself) are slightly different for iPad/iPhone, Android, and Samsung Galaxy devices. Here you can see how Selfie Emoji is displayed on iOS, Android, Windows, and other platforms and applications.
